Although the in-person Swing for the Wish event was canceled in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic, our community continued to support the cause.

An online auction, sponsorship funds and donations raised $20,000 for Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada. Friends, families, colleagues and supporters came together during an uncertain year.

A Tradition of Giving

The original September 2020 report described InterState’s partnership with the regional Make-A-Wish chapter as beginning in 2006. It reported more than $290,000 raised and more than 48 wishes supported through that point. These are historical totals from the 2020 story.

Thank You for Keeping the Purpose Alive

Employees volunteered their time, sponsors stayed involved, and community members contributed donations. We appreciate the generosity and compassion of everyone who helped make the year’s donation possible despite the change in plans.
